MEND is for men who yearn to connect with self, one another, ancestors and nature in order to heal, grow and serve.
Solo and silent time in nature, deepened by fasting, can nourish the individual, encourage growth and foster a committed relationship with place and people. Nature-based healing asks us to contemplate and act on the realization, that as integral members of creation, we have roles and responsibilities.
Throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall we gather as a community of men to talk, listen and spend time on the land - learning and re-membering our common elemental language. We support one another in community and in our solo time. Each weekend consists of a combination of structured events, practices and processes as well as solo time on the land.

"With the loss of ancestral wisdom teachings, we are fortunate to be able to reconnect with ancient memory through relationship with the earth." Leila Castle
“It never occurs to us to wonder how the earth sees us. Could it be possible that a landscape might have a deep friendship with you?”
