Throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall, we offer MEND weekends, consisting of group work with seasoned facilitators as well as solo time on the land. Weekends often have a theme, for example - grief, relationships, healing, masculinity, etc. Some of our weekends are left open for the group to create or they become part of preparations for the multi-day MEND ROP program.
As part of the weekend, we offer a variety of practices to support your connection to self, one another and the land. Time on the land is an opportunity for meditation, Qigong, shirin yoku* or exploring the onsite waters, cave or island.
After group work, men will spend alone time in quiet reflection and later share their insights with the group if they wish.

We encourage participants to bring poetry, writing, and music which resonates with the weekend theme or material that you find inspiring in general. We camp on the land (you bring a tent, tarp and a sleeping bag). You are responsible for bringing your own food, which you can prepare by yourself or perhaps combine with others.
If you want more information, see the Contact Us section and send us an email with 'Requesting MEND weekend info' in the subject heading.
